Carriage Driving is a great tool to have in your tool box! Ever wonder how to become a PATH certified carriage driving instructor? Or how it could benefit your center to offer carriage driving? Sarah Norris, PATH certified riding and driving instructor, will go over the PATH certification from the perspective of a candidate and the ins and outs of the driving program at The Bridge Center.

Presenter: Sarah Norris - Sarah Norris has been a PATH Intl. registered level certified since 1999 and received her PATH level one driving instructor certification in 2005. Having a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education, concentrating in motor development therapy, Sarah has combined her love of horses with her interest in working with people with special needs in the therapeutic riding and driving world.

In an effort to help build individual communication skills, there will be a discussion of several key communication principles and attitudes for relating effectively with volunteers.
